Make Your Own Leather Belt, Sunday, September 14th, Noon - 4 pm, Washington, DC
Always wanted to learn to make things with leather? Join us for our Belt Making Workshop. In this one-day workshop you will learn the basics of how to bevel and burnish edges, mix a dye color, punch holes, set snaps, and size a belt.
This workshop includes the leather and supplies to make and finish your belt during class. We strongly suggest you wear clothes that can get dirty and have a dye splatter. This workshop will include hammering and loud sounds, and may not be appropriate for people with extreme noise sensitivities, ear protection or noise canceling headphones are welcome.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
