Little Adventure Satchel

142.00

Our Little Adventure Satchel is a both totally new for 2018, and totally classic S&R since before we had the name Stitch & Rivet. This sweet little satchel is a reworking of a design Katie originated in 2013, and now it is back, better than ever, and just as classic. This little crossbody bag is made out of tannery remnants, so once each batch of bags is sold it is unlikely there will be exact duplicates. We will be refreshing this listing with new colors and leathers, so check back often.

This batch is made from gorgeous waxy leather from a little tannery in Maine. The waxy finish will give the bags water resistance, and create an excellent patina over the years.

About Our Leathers:

These bags are made from workshop remnants, most of the leathers are tanned in the United States, and many are industrial salvage from American tanneries purchased through a salvager. Many of these leathers are what is called “high character” which means they have rub marks, cattle brands, or other natural markings that make these leathers more interesting than just smooth plain leather. Our strapping and accent leather for these bags is Horween Chromexel, which leather nerds will tell you is amongst the best leather available. We buy our Horween leathers from their tannery second program, so there may be a few small marks, but the leather is both sustainable and really lovely.
